Mug ’o tea and a spanner: Getting (and keeping) your bike on the road
March 23, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm£14
Give your bike a spring MOT and learn the skills to keep you on the road all year round. Whether you’re a seasoned rider, brand new to cycling or the slightly shamefaced owner of a rusty bike in the back of your garage, let us help you get back on your bike. Using the tools and skills of the Recyke-a-Bike workshop, we’ll will help you repair your bike, give you some advice on how to keep it working, and teach you the tips and tricks to manage any problems you encounter whilst out cycling.
Bring your bike along, or borrow one to learn on for the evening. No previous experience or skills are necessary, and we’ll provide everything you need (including biscuits and a cuppa!)
About the tutor: Phil is Outreach Manager at Recyke-a-bike, a Stirling based charity which recycle bikes to sell, offers bike services and repairs, and provides employability training and work placements.
